Curious how to make scratch and sniff labels with essential oils? 

 We print Scratch and Sniff Labels on our flexographic printer to produce the label with a clean and smooth finish.  Scratch and Sniff Labels use microencapsulated essential oils that are applied to the paper labels with flexographic printing processes.  The oil capsules are mixed with water to form 'slurry', which is blended with adhesives for printing.  Then, these essential oils would be scratched, causing the capsules to break open and release the scent of the product being represented in the can.
